Yangon -Bagan -Mandalay -Yangon
5 Days/ 4 Nights Program in Myanmar

Day 01

You will be welcomed by Our Travels experienced guide at the airport upon arrival in Yangon Yangon is the capital of Myanmar and this beautiful city is famous as the picturesque garden city.
 
 After breakfast, your sightseeing  of Sule Pagoda - situated in the center of Yangon. Legend said that it is 2,000 years    old and the central stupa is said to enshrine a hair of the Buddha. Visit Sule Pagoda and every corner around Sule Pagoda  on a walking tour, you will discover a unique charm of Yangon with its old Colonial Architectature Buildings. Afterwards, drive along Strand Road to explore the old colonial buildings and Botataung Pagoda. Visit Botataung Pagoda which is a famous land-mark on Yangon’s waterfront. You can discover the daily working life of Myanmar People and enjoy the sunset over Yangon river at the harbour near Botataung Pagoda.
After lunch, go shopping to Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly Scott Market), where you can find wide range of souvenirs, handicraft shops, gems and jewelry famous for their qualities. And then transfer to hotel for check in and take a rest.

Day 02

Breakfast at hotel.
In the morning, you will take an early flight to the destination BAGAN, the Wonder of Myanmar where thousands of stupas and pahtos (temples) stand. There are uncountable stupas and temples in Bagan. Your day in Bagan starts with Nyaung U local market which is a lively and colorful place to observe local life and customs. Then, you will be going to Shwezigon Pagoda –built by King Anawrahta, later become a prototype of virtually all later stupas over Myanmar, Wetgyiin Gubyaukgyi – this caved temple has Indian-style spire with the fine frescoes of scenes from the Jataka, and the refined Htilominlo Temple well-known for its old mural, fine plaster carving and glazed sandstone decoration.
After lunch, continue your visit inside the Old Bagan where most beautiful testimonies of the splendors and the richness of this site conceal. Ananda Temple – one of the finest in architecture and most revered temples with its four standing Bagan style Buddha images and huge carved teak doors, Thatbyinnyu Temple - the highest temple in Bagan, and Dhammayangyi Temple – the mortar less brickwork and best appreciated on the upper terraces said to rank as the finest and biggest in structure, are the afternoon highlights.
 
A horse-cart ride will take you through a plain of Bagan among magnificent Temples. Then, enjoy the moment of sunset over the world famous Archaeological complex from the upper terrace of one of the Bagan Temple.

Day 03

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay ‘’the Golden City’’. Arriving at  Mandalay and transfer to the 18th century AMARAPURA. The highlight is a visit to Mahagandayone Monastery- the largest in the country with over 1000 monks, home to several thousand of monks, giving the religious atmosphere of the country. It is a spectacular sight to grab a glance of the whole monastery taking their one daily meal silently. Then, you will visit a silk waving workshop to observe an ancient weaving technique and unique fabrics in traditional patterns known to be fit only for royalty in past centuries .You walk on the romantic U Bein Bridge, was built in teak from a former palace now engulfed in the stream.
 
Afterwards return to Mandalay and visit to Mahamuni Pagoda –its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layer of gold leaf donated by thousands of devout Buddhists over the years. And then go to Craftsmen’s Quarters to observe fine works of Myanmar artisans in Gold Leaf, Marble stone carving, Marionette and Kalaga Tapestries.
 
You will be exploring more about Mandalay. Shwenandaw Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery)-a fine example of a traditional Burmese wooden monastery. We will take you by the elevator to the top of Mandalay Hill where you will indulge yourself with the panoramic view of Mandalay under the rays of setting sun.

Day 04

Breakfast at hotel.In the morning, transfer to Mandalay  airport for a flight back to Yangon. Arrive to Yangon,
 
Spend your wonderful evening at the Shwedagon Pagoda. One of the most magnificent monuments on earth rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. The pagoda platform holds a dazzling array of shrines where devotees gather to meditate, make offerings, meet friends and share food. It is a vibrant, life-affirming atmosphere that illustrates the essence of Buddhist culture in Myanmar. And then transfer to the hotel check in and take a rest.

Breakfast at hotel.
Your sightseeing tour of Chauk Htat Gyi, a huge reclining Buddha image – housed in a large metal – roofed shed. The feet of the Buddha wear a very readable with the 108 sacred marks. Definitely not miss this colossal image.
 
Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda or also known as Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image. TheLawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image craved from the one piece of white is marble rock was done in year 2000 CE, which is flawless and of hight quality measuring 37 feet long, 24 feet wide and 11 feet thick was found at Sakyin Hill, Madaya Township, Mandalay Division. This huge Image is now at Mindhamma Hill, Insein Township, Yangon Division.
In 2003, the huge marble alms bowl was carved out of a monolithic sagyin marble and brought to Yangon and place on Minn Dhamma Hill.
Within the walking distance from Minn Dhamma Hill, there is an Elephant house where the three whitelephants is kept. In many asian countries including Myanmar, white elephant is regarded as a supreme royal ornament.Transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
