Day 1:  Arrival Yangon (Car)

Arrive at Yangon Int'l airport by FD 2753 (Estimated arrival time-17:10 pm.). Yangon city tour; until recently Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Aisa. Overnight in Yangon. (-)


Day 2: Yangon – Hpa An (Car)

Breakfast at hotel, embark for Hpa An trip (approx. 7 hrs. drive), visit small town and (if time permit) you may visit two caves and small town that the road to the Karen State capital of Hpa-An, stopping at Karen villages en-route. Overnight in Hpa An. (B)


Day 3: Hpa An – Kyaikhtiyo (Car)

Breakfast at hotel, exploring the highlights of Karen State, such as Mt Zwegabin, crowned by a stupa said to contain a hair of the Buddha. Visit the Buddhist art of Kawgun Cave and photograph the rock column of Kyaung Kalap, hot spring Kawkathaung cave and Bayintnyi cave etc. Drive back to Kyaikhtiyo. Overnight at Golden Sunrise (Deluxe) in Kimpun base camp, Kyaikhtiyo. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo. (B)


Day 4: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon (Car,open truck)

Breakfast at hotel, early morning hill up from Kim pun base camp board on an open truck on steep but well-paved road leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp. Continue walk up (approx 45 minutes) to the renowned Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site 1180 meters above sea level. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry you in a sedan chair. The Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, 7.3 meters high, built on a gold-gilded boulder, 25 meters in circumference, and balanced in what appears to be a very precarious position on a tabular rock jutting out from a ridge in the Eastern Yoma Mountains, visit around Golden Rock pagoda and enjoy the very beautiful panoramic. After visiting the famous religious sites, and later walk down to the upper camp, board on the truck and return to base camp. Here you meet your driver and proceed to Bago, 13th century capital. Visit major monuments such as Lay-Myat-Hnar huge Buddha Image, Hinthagone Pagoda, the place where Bago was founded and Shwethalyaung Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddha Images in existence. If time permit, you may visit further sightseeing at Bago such as and Hanthawadi palace site surrounding a former Mon palace ground. Return to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon. (B)


Day 5: Yangon – Mandalay - Mingun – Mandalay (Flight,Boat,Car)

Breakfast at hotel OR packed breakfast, transfer to airport for your Mandalay bound flight (6T 401, 06:20-08:25, check-in at Yangon domestic airport at 05:00 am.), arrival at Mandalay Tadaroo airport, meet your driver at airport and transfer to Mayan Chan jetty, board on a local fishermen boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady river (11 km, approx one hour). Observe the world's largest ringing bell weighing 55555 viss which calculated equal to 90 tons and Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain of King Bodawpaya ambition to make it the world's largest Buddhist stupa. Lunch at good Local restaurant on own arrangement. Return to Mandalay and continue visit traditional handicraft making process such as wood carving, tapestry weaving, gold leaf hammering etc. Late afternoon visit foot of Mandalay hill to observe "the largest book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon (Tripitaka) have been recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" (ex-palace complex of former Myanmar kings), to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture. You may either walk up stairs or drive up to Mandalay hill for a fantastic over view of the entire plain. Overnight in Mandalay. (B)


Day 6: Mandalay - Amarapura – Ava - Mandalay (Car, Horse-cart)

Breakfast at hotel and visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, proceed to ancient city of Amarapura, meaning city of immortality with a visit of Mahagandayon monastery to observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhist monks, afterwards check-in at your hotel. After fresh up, visit to 14th century capital Ava, you may cross Mitngwe River by small boat then take a horse-cart to observe unique monasteries and monuments include Bargaya teak monastery which is famous for its teak pillars amounting to 267 in total and the remains of the royal palace and fort. Enjoy fantastic sunset view from the 200 year old U Bein teak bridge span across Thaungthaman Lake (built in 1782) at that time Amarapura was Royal capital. Return to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay. (B)

Day 7: Mandalay – Sagaing - Mandalay (Car)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Sagaing hills covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, its retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Explore Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonse Pagoda and around. and 100 meditation centers. On your way visit traditional copper casting, silver smith works which Sagaing is famous for. Return to Mandalay and visit Mandalay city tour highlights Mandalay Zaygyo Market, city around and visit others monuments which you may lose the sightseeing on first day in Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay. (B)


Day 8: Mandalay - Monywar (Car)

Breakfast at hotel and afterwards, drive to Monywar, en-route visit Thanboddhay Pagoda, a huge temple that houses over 500,000 Buddha images. Take a walk through the nearby banyan tree grove Boddhi-Tataung with the thousand Buddha images sitting at the foot of each tree. Enjoy the panoramic view from Aung Setkya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills and check-in at hotel, after fresh up, Enjoy the panoramic view from Aung Setkya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills. Overnight in Monywar. (B)


Day 9: Monywar – Pakkokku – Bagan (Car, Boat)

Breakfast at hotel, embark to visit (by car) cross the Chindwin river Bridge and proceed to Poe Win Taung site where Buddha Images in the caves carved from the rocky hills. This extraordinary complex consists of 947 sandstone caves dug out of the hills and contains what is considered by archaeologists to be the richest collection of mural paintings and Buddhist statues in South East Asia. Po Win Taung with its unique Buddha Images and precious frescoes some dating from the early 17th century, is a must to see for anyone with an interest in Buddhist arts. Continue to nearby Shwebataung, another very interesting side where Monasteries and temples are carved out of narrow cliffs. Proceed to Pakkokku, en-route visit Ma U (Middle) Village; it’s very beautiful village and you may observe making the Gold Smith, incense sticks, Myanmar traditional scale and wooden small bridge (so called small U Bein Bridge), continue to Bagan by private boat from Pakkokku (Lat Pan Seik jetty) and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Bagan. (B)


Day 10: Bagan    (Car)

Breakfast at hotel, Bagan, founded as early as in 849 on the banks of the Ayeyarwady river was the capital of today Myanmar. The 11th century archaeological site is considered one of the richest and most amazing site in Asia, comparable to the sites of worldwide importance such as Jerusalem, and Rome however Bagan remain virtually un-known. This once splendid and glorious capital of the First Myanmar Empire is now a 42 square km area dotted with thousands of ancient pagodas, stupas, shrines, ordination halls and monuments. You may start the sightseeing around with your guide. Visit Nyaung U market and excursion to the major temples among the 200 plus existing monuments such as Anadar, the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture, Thabyinnyu, the highest monument of universal science, Gawdawpalin, one of the largest and most imposing Monument in Bagan , continue visit 11 century Shwezigon Pagoda, Lunch at good Local restaurant. Proceed to Dhammyangyi, the temple of evil king for the unique of all Asia of double Image of Buddha, Shwesandaw temple for the panoramic view, Htilominlo temple where frescoed representing 28 Buddha. Overnight in Bagan. (B)


Day 11: Bagan     (Horse-cart)

Breakfast at hotel, further sightseeing by horse-cart in Bagan (you may adjust the guide for sightseeing to be convenient for you), visit Myingabar Gubyaukgyi, meaning "great painted cave temple" for its exquisite mural paintings, Myazedi pillar inscribed in four languages mainly Myanmar, Mon, Pali and Pyu, Manuha temple with captive king's impression of life imprisonment and Abeyadana temple famous for its fine mural paintings on Mahayana Buddhism. Visit one of the lacquer ware workshop to observe process of traditional Myanmar souvenir. Overnight in Bagan. (B)

Day 12: Mt. Popa – Salay   (Car)

Breakfast at hotel, early morning, depart for Mt. Popa (45 km, approx 1½ hour), the core of an extinct volcano considered the abode of most powerful Nats (spirit) and important Nat worship center as well as one of the major pilgrimage destinations for local. Mt. Popa an extinct volcano, the highest landmark in the central dry zone, rises 1518 meter above sea. Established as National Parks, the Popa Mountain Park is now verdant and green with a rich flora especially of medicinal plants. It is the center for Nat worship in the shrine of the Mahagiri Nats.  For the energetic, time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the hill. In the afternoon driver to the colonial riverside town and monastic centre of Salay with its famous Konbaung-era buildings. If there is time, your driver will take you to an alternate viewpoint to view another stunning sunset over the pagoda peaks of Bagan.  Return to Bagan, Overnight in Bagan. (B)

Day 13: Bagan – Heho-Inle Lake    (Flight, Car, Boat)               

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for Heho bound flight (6T 403, 08:05-09:30, check-in time at 06:35 pm.), upon arrival at airport transfer to your hotel in Nyaug Shwe by private car with A/C and check-in at your hotel. After fresh up, private boat excursion in Inle Lake, the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with 20 km long and 10 km wide, situate 875 meter above the sea level among the hazy Blue Mountains. Start private boat excursion on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake that traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Intha people. Wonder unique leg rowing fishermen, floating firms, houses and monasteries on the stilt etc. Visit Phaung Daw Oo floating market which schedule to hold here today and continue Visit Lake's downtown, the floating village of Ywama, Padaung long neck ladies and their hand-made shop, Phaungdaw Oo pagoda with five miniature Buddha Images, hidden under gold leaf plastering, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, and the Ngaphechaung museum (Jumping cat monastery) like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Return to your hotel.  Overnight in Nyaung Shwe. (B)

Day 14: Indein-Inle Lake-Nyaung Shwe (Boat)

Breakfast at hotel and private boat excursion with your escorted guide to Indein, visit thousands of ancient pagoda and the rest, your guide will assist more of Inle Lake sightseeing. Visit Ming Thauk village and around and observe the cotton, souvenir shops and weaved Padaung ladies in shop, then Hae` Village surrounding etc. as Inle Lake is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar among the hazy beautiful Mountains.  Overnight in Nyaung Shwe. (B)

Day 15: Nyaung Shwe–Kakku–Kalaw (Car)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to thousands of ancients Kakku pagodas to visit altogether with your escorted guide and local guide for specific area which is near on the road of Taunggyi. Drive to Kalaw cool and pleasant weather and it was British hill station since colonial era and visit around cool and small town Kalaw. Overnight at Dream Villa Hotel (Superior) in Kalaw. (B)

Day 16: Kalaw – Pindaya – Nyaung Shwe (Car)

Breakfast at hotel and visit colorful ethnic market (if meet with 5-day rotated market) and drive to  Pindaya Cave ( approx. 30/45 minutes ) winding roads through the rolling hill of the Shan seed and wheat fields. Explore around wonder of the mystery cave and Pa O paper umbrella-making process. Continue to Nyaung Shwe (91 km approx 2 hour). In this Nyaung Shwe (small town on the bank of Inle Lake), you may visit small town around by tri-shaw (on your own) OR by private tour car; especially visit over (100) years old “Shwe Man Pyay monastery” with oval shape windows. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe. (B)

Day 17: Heho – Yangon (Car, Flight)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for Yangon bound flight (6T 402, 08:35-10:45, check-in time at 06:35 am.) and transfer to hotel. After fresh up, you may start City tour highlights heart of Yangon down town over 2500 Yrs. old Sule Pagoda, the Town Hall and Botataung Pagoda (2000 Years old) said to have enshrinement of Buddha hair relic, afterwards to observe the ways of life at harbor of Yangon River nearby Botahtaung Pagoda. Furthermore, you may visit Shwedagon Pagoda, which is claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold and enjoy the fantastic sunset from Shwedagon Pagoda. Dinner at Karaweik Royal Barge Restaurant with culture show in Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight in Yangon. (B)

Day 18: Sun: Mar 10 '13:  Syriam (Thanlyin) (Car, small boat)     

Breakfast at hotel and we start sightseeing to THANLYIN (Syriam) and across the Yangon river via Thanlyn Bridge built by Chinese engineers, an opportunity to see the countryside around Yangon. Visit to Ancient Portuguese Church (AD 1749 – 1750) and visit busy local market in Thanlyin. Proceed to Kyauk Tan and visit to Yele Pagoda (A floating Pagoda which is Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river) is a popular place of pilgrims. In the evening, return back to Yangon and transfer to Hotel.  Overnight in Yangon. (B)
