Day 1:             Arrival Yangon (Car)

Arrive at Yangon Int'l airport by FD 2753 (Estimated arrival time-17:10 pm.). Yangon city tour; until recently Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Aisa. Overnight in Yangon. (-)


 

Day 2:             Yangon (By bicycle)

Breakfast at hotel, visit Chaukhtatgyi colossal reclining Buddha Image and check-in your hotel. After fresh up, you may start Yangon city tour; until recently Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Aisa. City tour highlights heart of Yangon down town over 2500 Yrs. old Sule Pagoda, the Town Hall and Botataung Pagoda (2000 Years old) said to have enshrinement of Buddha hair relic, afterwards to observe the ways of life at harbor of Yangon River nearby Botahtaung Pagoda.


Kabaraye Pagoda and Maha Par Sar Na Cave, Kyauk Tawgyi marble huge Buddha image and White Elephant etc. Furthermore, you may visit Shwedagon Pagoda, which is claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold and enjoy the fantastic sunset from Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon. (B)

As Alternative- Yangon-Htauk Kyank – Ngar Su Taung - Yangon (By bicycle)
Breakfast at hotel, bike to Mingalardon, then Htauk Kyank, stop and stroll II War World cemetery and visit extension to Ngar Su Taung (time permit) and return to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon. (B)


 

Day 3:             Yangon – Thanlyin (By bicycle)-Yangon à Mandalay (By train)

Breakfast at hotel, you start sightseeing to THANLYIN (Syriam) and across the Yangon river via Thanlyn Bridge built by Chinese engineers, an opportunity to see the countryside around Yangon. Visit to Ancient Portuguese Church (AD 1749 – 1750) and visit busy local market in Thanlyin. Proceed to Kyauk Tan and visit to Yele Pagoda (A floating Pagoda which is Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river) is a popular place of pilgrims. In the evening, return back to Yangon and transfer to Hotel. In the afternoon, visit Bogyoke market <formally known as Scott's Market> a famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar souvenir, fabric, lacquer-ware and handicrafts. Check-in your train about (04:00) pm. and (you may packed dinner OR buy meals at train just local food). Overnight on board. (B)

Yangon – Mandalay (Overnight Train)

Day 4:             Arrival in Mandalay (By train) Mandalay – Ava - Amarapura (By bicycle)

Arrive at Mandalay station in the morning (not early morning),
Option- Upon arrival after fixing your bike, bicycling to to ancient city of Amapura, meaning city of immortality with a visit of Mahagandayon monastery to observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhist monks.
Breakfast at hotel and after fresh up, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, continue visit traditional handicraft making process such as wood carving, tapestry weaving, gold leaf hammering etc. Late afternoon visit foot of Mandalay hill to observe "the largest book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon (Tripitaka) have been recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" (ex-palace complex of former Myanmar kings), Mitngwwe River by small boat then take a horse-cart to observe unique monasteries and monuments include Bargaya teak monastery which is famous for its teak pillars amounting to 267 in total and the remains of the royal palace and fort. After visit Ava, you may bike beautiful & cool road to enjoy fantastic sunset view from the 200 year old U Bein teak bridge span across Thaungthaman Lake (built in 1782) at that time Amarapura was Royal capital. Return to Mandalay. (Just fresh up at Zegyo Hotel (Standard) in Mandalay. (B)), Pm take the train to Bagan at (09:00) pm. (ETD).

Day 5:             Arrival in Bagan (By train) Bagan (By bicycle)

Early morning arrive in Bagan at (04:00) am., breakfast at hotel. Bagan, founded as early as in 849 on the banks of the Ayeyarwady river was the capital of today Myanmar. The 11th century archaeological site is considered one of the richest and most amazing site in Asia, comparable to the sites of worldwide importance such as Jerusalem, and Rome however Bagan remain virtually un-known. This once splendid and glorious capital of the First Myanmar Empire is now a 42 square km area dotted with thousands of ancient pagodas, stupas, shrines, ordination halls and monuments. You may start the sightseeing around with your guide. Visit Nyaung U market and excursion to the major temples among the 200 plus existing monuments such as Anadar, the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture, Thabyinnyu, the highest monument of universal science, Gawdawpalin, one of the largest and most imposing Monument in Bagan , continue visit 11 century Shwezigon Pagoda, Lunch at good Local restaurant. Proceed to Dhammyangyi, the temple of evil king for the unique of all Asia of double Image of Buddha, Shwesandaw temple for the panoramic view, Htilominlo temple where frescoed representing 28 Buddha. Overnight at Thante Nyaung U Hotel (Superior bungalow) in Bagan. (B)


 

Day 6:        Bagan (By bicycle), Baganà Nyaung Shwe junction (By Public Bus)

Breakfast at hotel, further sightseeing by bicylce in Bagan (you may adjust the guide for sightseeing to be convenient for you), visit Myingabar Gubyaukgyi, meaning "great painted cave temple" for its exquisite mural paintings, Myazedi pillar inscribed in four languages mainly Myanmar, Mon, Pali and Pyu, Manuha temple with captive king's impression of life imprisonment and Abeyadana temple famous for its fine mural paintings on Mahayana Buddhism. Visit one of the lacquer ware workshop to observe process of traditional Myanmar souvenir. Pm. public express bus will pick you up at (05:45) pm. and transfer about (06:00) pm. (B)
Bagan – Nyaung Shwe (Overnight public express Bus with A/C)

Day 7:             Arrival in Nyaung Shwe juction(By Bus)-Inle lake (By boat)

Arrive at junction of Shwe Nyaung and Nyaung Shwe at (04:00) am., you may take the taxi to your Aung Mingalar Hotel in Nyaung Shwe. After breakfast and after fresh up, private boat excursion in Inle Lake, the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with 20 km long and 10 km wide, situate 875 meter above the sea level among the hazy Blue Mountains. Start private boat excursion on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake that traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Intha people. Wonder unique leg rowing fishermen, floating firms, houses and monasteries on the stilt etc. Visit Phaung Daw Oo floating market which schedule to hold here today and continue Visit Lake's downtown, the floating village of Ywama, Padaung long neck ladies and their hand-made shop, Phaungdaw Oo pagoda with five miniature Buddha Images, hidden under gold leaf plastering, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, and the Ngaphechaung museum (Jumping cat monastery) like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Return to your hotel. In the evening, bike around Nyaung Shwe small town highlights: over hundred years old Shwe Yan Pyay monastery with oval shape windows and surrounding.  Overnight in Aung Mingalar Hotel in Nyaung Shwe. Day 8: Nyaung Shwe-East bank of Inle Lake (By Bicycle)-Nyaung Shwe junction àYangon (By Public Bus)

Breakfast at hotel. Start the biking to east of Inle Lake in the early morning. About (1) hr. bike to Khaungdaing Village where you may observe traditional alcoholic workshop, rice cracker as traditional and home factory. Bike to Hot Spring and take a rest in hot spring. After lunch at local nice restaurant in Khaungdaing village, drive back to Nyaung Shwe. Check-out from hotel, then take the taxi to junction of Shwe Nyaung and Nyaung Shwe.
Nyaung Shwe - Yangon (Overnight public express Bus with A/C)
